You will be covered by the sponsor’s insurance policy for the duration of your program .
Your insurance will cover you for illness or accident, personal liability, emergency evacuation and repatriation.
As for workplace-related accidents, they are first covered by your employer’s workers’ compensation policy.
As with all U.S. insurance policies, you will have to pay a small portion of your medical bills directly to the physician or hospital. This is called a co-pay. When you seek medical treatment, you will be responsible for this co-pay at the time of your visit.
We will send you a confirmation of insurance and a summary of coverage prior to your departure.
